Please note: ENF860 requires caller ID service from your phone line provider in order to function properly.

No data will be lost when switching modes, making it convenient for you to use the mode you need at different times. For instance, you can set the ENF860 to BLOCK mode during the day, and switch to FAMILY mode in the evening or during rest times to only allow calls from numbers on the FAMILY LIST to come through.

Please note that this product is the ENF860 CALL BLOCKER, and does not include any answering machines or telephones. The phones shown in the picture are for installation demonstration purposes only and are not included in the product package - please refer to [What's in the box?] for details.

Detailed Description

You can manually add up to 4096 numbers to the NUMBER LIST. During a call, simply press the 'BLOCK number' button or dial # 6 on your phone to block the call and add the number to the NUMBER LIST. You can also create your own database by entering numbers on the telephone keypad to pre-add them to the list.

The NAME LIST can hold up to 256 names. Adding a name to the list will block all numbers associated with that name.

The device can store up to 32 latest caller IDs, with the newest ones overwriting the oldest entries. By pressing a button, you can transfer the caller's number to the NUMBER LIST or FAMILY LIST, and also transfer the caller ID name to the NAME LIST.

The ENF860 comes preloaded with a large database of known spam numbers that have been frequently reported. However, there may still be a few changing numbers that bypass the database. You can use the 'BLOCK number' or 'BLOCK by name' buttons to block them, or switch to family mode to block all calls not on the FAMILY LIST.

No matter the mode, blocked calls will not ring. The blocked caller ID will be recorded in the CALL LIST without any ringing or alerts. If a blocked caller still rings once, it may be due to incorrect wiring that needs to be corrected.
